Man $100,000 richer
Nov 29, 2011
Mississauga resident Bashar Kailani is thankful he changed his routine.
Instead of playing his usual Lotto Max and Cash for Life, the 32-year-old
chose to also play Instant Millions during a recent trip to Botros
Convenience, on Eglinton Ave., because the ticket looked “flashy.”
He matched the numbers to win $100,000.
“I scratched the ticket in my car and I couldn’t believe it,” said Kailani.
“My mind went blank.”
He said he went home and sat there in complete shock.
Kailani, who’s been playing the lottery for less than a year, says he’ll
likely add Instant Millions to his favourites.
“I still don’t believe it. I need to calm down,” he said.
Kailani plans to buy a car, make a down payment on a house and take a trip
to Las Vegas.
